How to Apply Your DTF Transfers
We keep it simple, fast, and fool-proof. Follow these steps and you’ll get crisp, pro-level prints every time
1. Prep the Garment
- Make sure your blank is flat, clean, and free of lint.
- Do a quick 5-second pre-press to knock out moisture and wrinkles.
2. Press It On
- Temp: 300°F
- Time: 10 seconds
- Pressure: Medium to firm
- Lay the transfer ink-side down and press.
3. Peel Hot (Yep, Right Away!)
- As soon as the press opens, peel the film immediately while it’s still hot.
- Smooth, steady motion, no waiting around.
4. Lock It In (Optional but Do It)
- Place a sheet of craft paper, parchment, or other textured material on top.
- Press again for 5 seconds for a soft feel and long-lasting finish.
Pro Tip: Every heat press has its own personality, so if it’s your first time, do a quick test press to dial it in. After that, you’ll be unstoppable.
